Thoughts: It is absoultely vital to read this verse in context of Col. 3:10-17 especially v. 12-->"put on a HEART"

BIG IDEA: Christian’s become new people!

KEY VERSE: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!

KEY VERSE: John 8:12 (NLT) Jesus said to the people, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't be stumbling through the darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life."

KEY VERSE: Colossians 2:8 (NLT) Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.

Big Idea: Being a Christian means helping others to be Christians (even when it hurts).

Key Verse: Colossians 2:6 (NLT) And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.
